昔は、ストーカーなんて言葉もありませんでしたので、電話やメールをしつこくかけられたり、送られたりしても我慢するしかない時代もあったのです。そんなストーカー規制法で取り締まられる中に、驚くべき犯行もあります。

例えば、瞳の中に写る景色で住所を特定するデジタルストーカー・・・。気持ち悪いですよね。。。

１、瞳の中の景色で住所を特定されるのか？！

 

アイドルをされている方が、SNSにUPした写真の自分の瞳に写る風景から、ファンの男性から自宅を特定されて待ち伏せされるというストーカー事件がありました。それだけ聞いていると、気持ち悪いし、そんなこと本当にできるのか？！どんな執念と根気なんだ！って思いますよね。

「ベリングキャット」というインターネットを使った調査報道されているサイトの創設者エリオット・ヒギンズ氏がBBCの取材を受けられた時の話によりますと、「高解像度の画像と地理位置情報を使えば、そこから詳しい情報が特定できる。グーグル・ストリートビューなどで画像情報が増えるほど、居場所が特定される確率は高くなる」と指摘されたそうです。

SNSなどに自分の暮らしを高解像度の写真や動画で投稿することは、とても危険なことなのです。

 

２、デジタルストーカーとは？

 

ネットを駆使して、ストーカー行為を行う犯罪者のことをデジタルストーカーと言います。先ほどの、瞳の中に写る風景から自宅を特定などはまさにこのデジタルストーカーですよね！

更に、好意を持って近づくだけではなく、ネット上のトラブルなどから嫌がらせが始まり、デジタルストーカー被害に遭う事もあります。

サイバーストーカー（英: Cyberstalker）またはネットストーカーは、インターネットを利用して特定の人物にしつこく付きまとうストーカーの総称。彼らの行為は、サイバーストーキング、ネットストーキングと呼ばれ、サイバー犯罪の一種であるとされる。

サイバーストーカーがサイバーストーキングを始めるきっかけは、電子掲示板、ブログ、SNS、ウィキなど、インターネットコミュニティでの揉め事によって激しい憎悪を抱いたりすることや、インターネット上で公開されている他者のプロフィールを見て、その人物に恋愛感情を抱いたりすることが挙げられる。

３、デジタルストーカー例は？

 

●アイドル女性が瞳に写る風景から自宅を特定される

瞳に写る風景をグーグルストリートビューなどで場所を特定されストーカー行為を受けた方がいらっしゃいました。実際に、自身が撮影した写真でも、瞳の部分を拡大することでどこにいるのか？わかる様なことがありました。

探偵のアルバイトをしていた時にも、結婚詐欺を探す依頼で対象者が写る写真の手元の箸袋の電話番号からお店を割り出し、本人も発見した事がありました。出来るんですよ本当に、実際に照明をしましたので(笑

 

●ピースサインや瞳の虹彩で他人の認証をクリア！

ピースサインに写る指から指紋を抜きだし、認証に悪用することは可能だという話もあります。目の虹彩を読み取る事も可能です。ここまで来ると、スパイ映画の話ですよね。ですが、技術としては可能なのです。国立情報学研究所の越前功教授（情報セキュリティー）も、写った指の指紋の画像処理を行い凹凸を再現することで、偽の指紋を作ることは可能でなりすましの指紋認証が行われる恐れがあるとお話されています。

●自宅で撮影した写真や鏡や窓に写り込む風景にも注意

自宅で看板などもうつらないように注意して風景写真をUPしたい際に、その風景を写真検索をかけられて、自宅を特定されたというのもありました。自分では、特定される様な物を写していないつもりでも、鏡や窓に移っている風景や看板などからも特定されることがあります。
自分の部屋で撮影してUPした際に、特配便で届いた段ボールに貼られている送り状が写っていて、拡大されて住所を特定されたという様な事例もあるので、本当に怖いですね。

４、デジタルストーカーの被害に遭わない為にやるべき４つのこと

●自宅や行きつけのお店などで撮影した写真をUPしない

自宅で撮影した写真では、GPSなどの緯度経度で場所を特定されたりしやすく、行きつけのお店を乗せる事でその近辺に住んで居ると張り込みなどもされやすくなりますので注意が必要です。

●直接写っている風景だけではなく鏡や窓ガラスの写り込みに注意

私も良くやってしまいますが、自分の直ぐ周りだけを気にしていてガラスに色々写ってるなんてことあります。全体的に問題ないか？確認してから撮影してください

●地名などを書きこまない

おおよその検討がつく地名などの固有名詞を乗せない事も大切です。画像検索の際に絞り込みされやすくなります。

●UPする際に画質を下げる

最近のスマホのカメラの画質がとても良く拡大した際に小さな物も確認できる高解像度がデジタルストーカーに狙われます。画質を自ら縮小して写りを悪くする事も解析を防ぐことに繋がります。

５、まとめ

デジタルストーカーの被害に遭いたくなければ、一番良いのはSNSなどを利用しない事です。スマホではなくガラケーでネットも必要以上利用しない。うちの妹がそうでした。
しかし、やはりこれだけネット社会になると予約もネットでなど様々な不便があるので、使わざるを得ない状況になりますよね。その時に、どこまで注意ができるか？するべき事、するべきで無い事の区別をどこまでできるか？が被害に遭うか遭わないかの差になると思います。
